The vueltiao hat is made by hand with fibers from the Caña Flecha plant that is grown in the territory of the Zenú indigenous people in the departments of Córdoba and Sucre, from this plant the thin fibers are taken from and which is the fabric that the vueltiao hat is made.
It is called 27 veintisiete vueltas because it is woven with 27 pairs of caña flecha strips and its production time is due to its complexity and takes 2 weeks. It is the finest colombian vueltiao hat.
